Beginning- |
|
|
I keep thinking of my 4Runner as a her, hmmm. I'm not sure that a
4Runner is a her. It's big, bulky, high, rugged, and a 4x4 with a
towing package. One thing I can tell you for sure, it's slow!
My friend, who also owns one says mine is the same as his. Ok, his
is must be slow too. Of course, I am making the comparison to
my turbocharged Supra. I bought this
SUV in April of 2002 as a second vehicle
since my 87Supra Turbo now has a rod knock.
I needed something that could tow as well as carry any parts around in. |

History- |
|
|
Her (again with the her) history with me has been short. I haven't
done too much other than fix the problems she came with. Of
course, this is just the beginning. |

Repairs- |
|
|
Starting out my 4Runner had a few dings, the front had been slightly
hit, and the a/c didn't work. All in all, not too many
repairs.
The first thing I did was repair the
front end
damage and got the
a/c working. |

Modifications- |
|
|
When I bought my 4Runner, it did not have any
power windows (except the
back one) or power locks. That is the first of the
modifications that I
need to do. I would like to add bumper and nerf bars, a roof
rack, body lift (can't with auto tranny), etc. Eventually I can see myself doing an engine
swap as well (maybe that will come next). My
wish list might become kind of long if
I keep on that track. |
